Stiven’s mission is to ‘Alphacise™ the children of the world’.

His dream is for all children aged two to four years to own or have access to Alphacise™ and for them to be actively using the book as part of their daily learning and fitness routine.

He plans to achieve this by collaborating with as many media organizations worldwide and kindly requests that they work together to inform the parenting public of the effective health and education benefits of Alphacise™ and by doing so strongly believes that this will greatly assist all children affected to beat the battle of the bulge!

Stiven is also most happy and appreciative to attend any interview, media opportunity, book signing or fundraiser anywhere in the world and plans to visit as many playgroups, preschool groups, preschools and preprimary schools as possible where-ever he may be invited.

To truly test the benefits to children and adults, a copy of Alphacise™ was sent to the WA Health and Education Departments as well as to Professor of Child Psychology at Edith Cowan University, Alison Garton for review.

After a few weeks processing Alphacise™, both the health and education departments gave their support for the book which was also backed by a positive review from Professor Garton which is shown below;

“Alphacise™ combines two important activities for 2 to 4 year old children, namely book reading and various different forms of exercise. It is well known that joint book reading between parents and children fosters a close parent-child relationship as well as encouraging literacy (reading and writing) once children start school. The recently released national report ‘Teaching Reading’ recommends parents begin reading to their children before schooling is started. The need to increase childhood activity is also recognised as children increasingly lead sedentary lives, in front of the television. Encouraging children to enter into different simple physical activities associated with the letters of the alphabet will mean that children are not only healthy but also have learned to understand the world of books and reading.”

Although Alphacise™ is now being launched worldwide, a draft book was produced in early 2005 for trial at a very distinguished Perth primary school.

Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School in the suburb of Dianella trailed Alphacise™ with their year one class as part of the schools alphabet and sport curriculum.

Within weeks of using Alphacise™ word of its huge success spread quickly with the media flocking to the school for interviews and other pre-primary and primary schools wanting copies.

Since 2005, Alphacise™ has been improved in both content and visually and as part of Stiven’s mission to “Alphacise™ the children of the world’, he trusts teachers worldwide will support his cause and use Alphacise™ at their schools.

After seeing the positive effects on the children at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School a copy of Alphacise™ was sent to Princess Mary following the birth of The Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark’s first child.

An official note of thanks was received a few weeks later and true to our mission now all children can greatly benefit from using Alphacise™, even royalty!
